suggest looking to see if you can roughly tell wear from, and then clean the area down with a solvent and wash of the excess oil. you can then run the engine and examine where it is coming out from. most likely a gasket failure.

My volvo 850 transmition cut out on me. For a while the arrow on the dash was blinking and it would switch to limp mode. I brought it in to be looked at and they didn't find a problem. Last time it happened the car slipped out of gear and didn't move at all. I had to stop the car and wait a few seconds then start up again. After that, everytime I came to a stop I had to stop the car and restart. What's going on??

I have and 1995 850 turbo. Yeasterday I started my car and it was idling really high, I let it run for a min. but it wouldn't come down at all so I turned my car off. When I tried to start it, it sounded like it wanted to start but just wouldn't turn over. What could it be?
