check for no brake lights when it wont come out of park, this will take 2 people to do. if the brake lamps to not work i would check the brake light switch for defects. if the lamps do work i would test the shift lock solenoid actuator. i have seen one that some one had spilled a soft drink on the consol shifter and the sticky caused the shift lock solenoid to keed the shifter stuck when the outside temperture was cold
