Problem for Dodge 2001 Durango

Column shifter will not move out of the park position

when i start my truck and try to put it into drive, it doesnt budge. i have replaced the pressure release sensor on the brake- rocking my truck back and forth- puting it into 4wd high and low- cussed my truck out- apologized and made amends to it- but NOTHING happens. is it the linkage down below or the sylinoid in the column? any suggestions ?

i had the same problem with my 2001 durango, if you pull the shifter boot off the stearing column you will see a little nob that will not alow the shifter to move, I pushed mine in and it wortked great, i did lube it though

check your fuse for tail or brake if you got trailer hitch if you have your manual might say in there happened to brothers ford
