one of two possiable causes;;you have answerd your own question?[ one]the starter motor remove, you will find on the end a bendix its round with 6/7/8 teeth on it if all intact.get a lamp and look into the hole the starter came out of. Turn the engine slowly;;at this stage you will see a large gear inside turning the engine make sure all the teeth are on this gear if not sorry this repair will cost you.adrian;;;

This morning all the in dash speedometer singnal light where working good. Then the four-way sometimes works. The right turn in dash singal does not work at all. Does anyone have any guidance on the best way to replace the high pressure power steering hose. I have removed the original hose but I can not attach the new hose to the axel. I removed the radiator to give myself more room but I still cannot attach the new hose. Because the hose end is curved, I can not place the attachment nut into the axel due to the grill frame. Is there a trick to attaching the new hose without removing the front grill frame? The return low pressure hose is still attached.Thanks

I have a 94 jeep cherokee. straight 6, and the battery died ..gotten a new battery , same day died. Bought a new alternator, same problem..battery died. Bought a new starter. battery died again. what is going on...wiring maybe somewhere short? What could it be? Also when i turn the signal on or the heater..sometimes it won't work until u turn the vehicle off then back on. Could this have something to do with the battery dying.?
