intermitent starting problems. Battery ok, cables replaces. is there a neutral safety switch, or shift lever safety?

yes there is a switch called Prndl SWITCH OR THE SAFETY NETURAL SWITCH, SINCE IT SENSES WHEN IT IS IN park Drive one drive to neutral and reverse that's where it gets the name pronounced prndl switch. IT'S located on the side of the transmission where the linkage is you take the nut off to remove linkage with the car in park, Also has two bolts that have to be removed and the harness removed. if you need more information let me know. One other thought the starter solenoid could do the same thing if the button is burnt inside the ,
