The 1999 Isuzu Rodeo does not come with a fuel Inertia cut off switch. In case of an accident, the oil pressure switch comes into play i.e. if the engine shuts off and starts leaking oil. The oil pressure switch also cuts off the fuel pump power.
Try Replacing your gas sending unit or gas pressure sensor unit, both fairly east to replace with minimal expenses. If this does not fix the problem then change the fuel pump. But start with the gas sending unit.
REPLACE FUEL FILTER COULD BE STOPPED UP.ALSO YOU COULD HAVE BLOWED FUEL INJECTOR FUSE OR FAULTY PCM.HAVE VECHICLE SCANNED TO SEE IF YOU HAVE ANY CODES.
i have 95 isuzu rodeo with the 3.2l my fuel filter is good i can hear my pump turn on i know there is fuel in the rail but i dont know if there is enough pressure.the car tries to start but cant. any suggestions
