a 350 will not fit you would have to do a lot of modifying. chop the fender wells, extend the front, change the linkage, and add a crossmember for support. gooood luuckk
You can fit one in an s10.... but you really have to want it. You will probably need to blister the firewall in order to get the exhaust to fit as well as the distributor cap. This will however require some serious effort. If you plan on using a late model engine you'll need to install an entire computer set-up from the same vehicle as the engine came from. If you're using an early model 350 with a carb then you can do away with all the computer stuff, but you'll also have to swap transmissions. The 95 700r4 transmission has a much more computer controlled setup, if you go with a late 80's 700 you can get away from some of the computer issues, but in reality you'd be better off in that case to go whatever transmission came with the engine. It's going to be a real project in that vehicle.... however if this is for something other than an s10 blazer, jimmy, this should at least give you some idea as to what you can do. It's tight in a blazer... really tight. Though I do know someone who made a 454 big block fit! Of course he had to make a new firewall...
