Check Engine light

My Toyota Tacoma 2001 had the check engine light on. Went to get it checked. It said the probable cause is either an open or short circuit condition, poor electrical connection, or a failed IAC motor. I was told to possibly replace this part: IACV. Is this true?

very possible the motor but, have them check the wiring harness for shorts, breaks, or bad ground connections. these will also cause the light coming on.goodday
