You need to take it and have a code scanner hooked to it to find out why the light is on. If there is an autozone or advanced auto parts near you, go there, they will hook one up free. That will show what the problem is. Takes about a minute.

#2 02 sensortrips the ligh, but is not necessarily the prblem that cause it to trip.Your emissions are too high and it could be running too rich or the cat cnverter is not efficient. The first 02 sensor constantly makes fuel adjustments so it too can be defective.
