Then every Once a while remove it, clean it & put it back.

Try this;
- Normally new generation cars come with cabin { A/C } paper filter.
- Mostly it's located behind the glove compartment in the passenger side.
- Or some cars; the filter element Installed in the engine / glare shield RH side looking from driver seat.
Then every Once a while remove it, clean it & put it back.
