02 sensor How do I change the back 02 sensor on my 2004 Honda Accord EX 2.4L

  • midnightlive Nov 09, 2009

I was wondering more about the electrical connector side of the assembly. The connector is routed through the floorboard, and I was wondering how involved that end of the task would be.

I NEED HELP MY HONDA ACCORD EX WAGON IS TAKIN TO

if you have no misfire and the engine idles good then the egr is not your issue. most likley your 02 sensor is the reason only if everything else has been checked out and to be deemed to factory specs. Its all really juist a guess if you don't want to get it professioally diagnosed. You just wasted money on a part that you didnt need. It could of paid for a proper diagnoses instead. One needs a data scanner to access the computer. There is no other wy.

Well, I would clear the code and see if it comes back.

The O2 sensor code could have occurred when the car shut off and the fuse being pulled may have been related to that.

So, I would drive it a while and if the engine light comes back on, then change the O2 sensor to see if the problem will go away.

I hope this helps.

Flashing green s on the dash

A green flashing "S" is similar to a check engine light. It is telling you that something in or on your transmission is not functioning correctly, such as the speed sensor or shift control solenoids. If it starts flashing and the speedometer stops working or the transmission shifts weird, take it to a mechanic.
