I am having trouble opening the tailgate of my 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. It feels stuck or something, and I have to repeatedly pull the handle as hard as I can to finally get it to open. Any ideas about what is causing this or how I can fix it?

have you tried spraying a lubricant on the latch?
