my brake lights dont work, i have checked the fuse and bulbs but all is ok, my car is an audi a3 1.6 99 model

Check the brake light switch (aka the stop light switch). I'm not familiar w/ Audi, but most cars have the switch located on the upper portion of the brake pedal, with an electric plug in connection. I couldn't find a listing for info on the a3, only the a4 and 6 for that year . That switch is approx. $40. Hope this helps. Good luck.
