I have changed the brake light switch, I actually tried two switches, because I still have the same problem, the lights stay on. It started out to where I could tap the brake pedal and the lights would go off, so I am wondering if I could possibly have gotten 2 bad switches , or is there something in line that I need to check. I have not checked any of the bulbs at this time , and was considering doing that before any further testing.

the chances of getting 2 bad switchs are very slim
make sure the adjustment of the switch is correct
if ok you could have a wiring problem
