Sounds as if the Alarm was Disconnected and the Original wires were NOT PROPERLY Spliced back together, and the Wires you speak of, I would NOT TRUST Unless you can Determine that they are ORIGINAL to the Vehicle, You Must Hunt DOWN ALL ORIGINAL WIRING FOR THE IGNITION. Purple, RED PINK, YELLOW, ORANGE, Are the COLORS for the IGNITION thesr are all the MAIN Wires that Supply POWER for ALL KEY ON Components, and the PURPLE is the START TRIGGER Wire to the STARTER. rejakwilson @aol.comfor IN DEPTH Info on this, and Please EXPLAIN what you DO Have, where they are located,ETC.
