2000 lincoln ls random starting

I have a 2000 lincoln LS 3.9 V8. Random starting either hot or cold. The message center will say check advance trac. the security light on top of the dash will blink, We then know that it will not start. When we turn the key off and wait. Turn it back on and if it doesn't say anything in the message center then we will be able to start the car. otherwise it cranks over just fine and after it does start runs great. NEED HELP!

A Lincoln mechanic says "I have seen a lot of the ADVANCE TRAC lights staying on, its a common problem(It happened on my LS). 99% of the time you just need to have the computer reflashed. This must be done by the dealer and it is usually about an hours worth of labor, so around 90 bucks depending on the dealer. This will fix all concerns"
