Cranks but no start

cranks but no start
checked battery and it is good. checked fuses and they are good. it wants to start but kind of hesitates.
i did have a P0116 - engine coolant temp sensor
Im thinking that its causing the car not to start since its reading out of specs. any ideas?

The coolant temp sensor is notorious for failure on these cars and can cause all kinds of weird issues. It's only a $20 part and is fairly easy to change. Start with that and see what happens. If it doesn't fix it, post back up and we'll go from there.
