What have you done for diagnostics so far? Is the engine light on? Did the ECM store any codes? Besides the current symptoms, was there anything else you can add to this issue ( like, did it happen out of nowhere, happens when its cold, hot, wet). I need more info, several things can cause a no start. But in your discription it sounds like a vacuum leak, I.A.C.valve, TPS sensor, or maybe map or maf sensor. But it is crazy to go further until you can run some diagnostic test and narrow down, the cause of your problem. I can say that it sounds like it is related to the ECM and when you disconnect the battery, it is putting the ECM into default, and as the vehical is running it senses the fault and causes the engine to die. Try to provide some engine codes if possible.

P0344 code on my dodge ram 1500 5.7 I changed both cam and crank sensor disconnected battery and removed fuse for 1 hour but still getting code can you give me answers?

with the key in the "on" position (not started/running) take off the NEG cable from battery and touch it to the positive terminal of the battery leaving it on there for about 5-10 mins, reconnect neg cable to battery and then start vehicle your check engine light and computer should be reset. Works for any vehicle. Good luck.

I have a 98 Dodge ram 1500 pickup cranks over but wont start. Was running fine last night. Started this morning for 3 min then died and wont start

Does it have spark at the spark plug's ? Does it have fuel pressure ? Is the anti-theft light on ? Have you check ASD relay in the under hood fuse/relay box ? There are videos on youtube diagnosing engine cranks no start condition .

1500 PU DIES WAN T START WAIT 5 MIN. WILL CRANK BACK UP

Possible failed fuel pump

They wear mechanically & electrically & work
on & off for months

You could have 10 other issues & not be the fuel pump

Look at Freeze Frame Data when it quits

I have a 2001 oldsmobile sihouette I disconnected negative battery post for ten min then put back then I parked van now when I go to start it securety lock is on and I can't start car and it reads cal...

you have to do that cycle 3 times, battery needs to fully charged.
Hood to stay closed, doors also(roll down the drivers window)
Kill the DRL headlights if possible(try putting the E-brake on)
Crank and leave key on,10 min or till light goes out, then key off,,no need to wait 5 min here, crank again.leave key on,,,,,3 times.
By the way, disconnecting the battery in that vehicle will not do anything like clear codes or memory, may need the radio code in the owners manual also.

I have a 97 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2 that wont start

COULD BE A BAD FUEL PUMP EVEN THOUGH ITS NEW, TRY THE FUSES IN THE MAIN FUSE BOX UNDER THE HOOD, ALSO TRY DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY CABLES FOR ABOUT 5 MINS, LASTLY IT MAY BE THE ECM [computer on fire wall]
HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEWHAT
