HI my day lights are not working on my car

HI my day lights are not working on my car, my full lights are fine though....it is the lights I need when I dim that are not working..

remove the left front inner fender you will see a WHITE RESISTOR with a 10mm bolt holding on
most likely it will be cracked or even pieces missing
replace that resistor and the daytime running lights will work
