1. The crome side bar is "attached" to the toyota via two attachment points (front and rear). 2. The attachment points on the crome bar is "welded". 3. The attachment points on the vehicle is via a "nut and bolt". 4. Front attachment point on toyota is a "horizontal" placed nut and bolt from left-to-right (or vice versa) about 3 to 4 inches measured horizontally (front to back) from the "mud flap". 5. Rear attachment point on the toyota is a "vertical" placed nut and bolt. ------ if the unit is factory ordered the holes should already be there however assemble the support rails onto each step side panel the align the rail to the frame and insert bolts after the back or front is installed even with a level on it and drilling a hole for the bolt being careful there is nothing to be damaged from drilling a hole such as wires or brake/fuel lines drill the hole and insert bolt the tighten them up same for the opposite side , ------- to see the pictures click this link directly http://www.howstuffinmycarworks.com/Side_steps__nerf_bars.html the brand of car may differ a bit but installation procedure will be same. ------ This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya.

I get a fluid leakage in the front wheel. Something called a burfill (?) Not sure of the correct name or what needs to be repaired. Had a pressure test done but it did not give us the source of the leak.
