Problem for Ford 2003 Expedition

Power Seat Control does not move the seat front or back

2003 Ford Expedition.
Power Seat Control does not move the seat forward or backwards. The control does move up and down and tilts. I can hear what sounds to be a control signal coming to the motor under the seat.

Try tapping the power seat frame with a hammer to unbind the motor .
