It said i need a code when i re-charged the battery

sometimes the delaer will right the code in the owners manual, or service manual. i would search those first. also some dealers put a sticker in the glove box with the serial number for the audio unit which you can give to a dealer and they can look up the code for you. another thing you can do is while the ignition is on and audio unit is on hold down am/fm presets 1 and 6 at the same time this may give you a reading on the audio screen of the serial number.- hope this helps
