Ok, I think my gears were froze when I tried to get out of park one day because my car was completely froze over and I tried to get it out of park and it wouldn't do it so I pulled it back again and I boke it. I can move it any where for (example drive) and it will not move. I think its something under my console inside.

2001 chevy Tracker, 2 door, soft top. 4x4.
The problem has been worked on by 1 chevy dealer and 4 other independent shops.
The truck will not idle or run under 5 mph without stalling. Depending on the ambient air temp itwill not restart ( 15 degrees C ) for 5 minutes, up to ( 30 C ) for 20 to 30 min ).It will then run perfectly and it will drive all day at 65 mph but if you stop for gas it will not start for 5 to 30 min depending on the air temp. The SE light does not come on and gauges hooked up show no codes. Some senor is stopping fuel delivery. It is not electrical. The system does not happen unless the truck is driven at 60 mph for 1&1/2 hrs ( in cooler temps )unless it is 25 to 30 C. I have replaced the computer ( used ) the coolant sensor, knock sensor, fuel filter. checked the fuel pressure 3 times ( remain steady at specs ) checked the MAF and electrical system through out. HOWEVER IF YOU REMOVE THE STAT THE TRACKER RUN PERFECTLY AND YOU CANNOT REPRODUCE THE STALLING AND REFUSING TO START FOR VARIOUS LENGTHS OF TIME. WHEN THE COLD WEATHER COMES THE SE LIGHT COMES ON BECAUSE THE TRUCK DOES NOT GET UP TO NORMAL OPERATING TEMP. IF YOU PUT BACK THE STAT It WILL RUN IDLE NORMALLY UNTIL THE AIR TEMP IS 15 C.
DESPERATE AFTER 1 YEAR OF LOOKING.

My 2000 Chevy Tracker just started posting the P0400 "EGR Valve Malfunction" code today. Lowest price I can find for the valve is $360 and that's gonna hurt. Do I need to replace the valve or is there another way I could solve the problem without replacement? Also, is there anything other than the valve itself that could cause this code to come up? I'd like to save money by doing it myself. I would appreciate any feedback on this problem.
