2001 Dodge Dakota 4.9 litre 5 speed manual. Back-up lights don't work. It's not the fuse or the bulbs.

it could be number of things, start with the easiest first... check the bulbs. if theyre good then try the fuses if theyre good then maybe the wre came off the trans back up sensor or maybe the sensor is even loose, have someone watch the lights as you wiggle your shifter
