Problem for Chevrolet 2003 Malibu

My car(03chevy malibu)gauges went nuts

my car(03chevymalibu)tells me its low on coolant so i add some. then it tell me that is to hot. then the heater stops working then this morning i start the car and the gauges go nuts on me. i was going to change the thermostat but after the gauges went nuts i think its more than the thermostat. can you figure this out because i am lost!
