Wanted to use external hard drive on ps3 so downloaded fat32 on hd. Now pc wont read hd aswell as ps3.

You can't "download fat32". What you have probably done is formatted the disk as fat32 (which is standard anyway) which will have wiped the drive. You should still be able to acccess it but there will be nothing on it.

the OS you are using may not recognise fat32 as a filing system. Also the bios settings may need to be changed for fat32.
