Remove the air filter case look to the righthand side close to the headlight.
If it is a v6 it is under the back left hand side of the engin block, if its a 4 cylinder then it is on the front left side.
In 94 S-10 Blazer with the 4.3L engine you must remove the air filter cover (unlatch one latch on each side and pull up) and the housing itself (one wing nut at the top, and then it slides upward). The filter is right up practically under the fender on the left side right behind the headlight. With the air filter removed, it's fairly easy to loosen it by hand.
