My 2004 Envoy had the reduced engine power light

My 2004 Envoy had the reduced engine power light come on - it also idles fine then the idle revves up - my guess is the electronic throttle? What do you think? Any idea on price to have it fixed?

I had the same problem it also had a lose power when i was driving at a steady speed. it ended up being the bank 2 o2 senser plus a bad cat converter witch was cover under 80000 miles

Hello,
Yes it sounds like you need a Throttle Actuated Control also known as a TAC. The TAC module or the TAC sensor (pedal assy) then there is the TAC throttle plate assy. There is alot to do in the process of corectly diagnosing this system. I recomend you take it to a qualified technician.
