Can a transmission problem, transmission fluid needed or wrong transmission fluid cause a check engine light?

- input or output speed sensor can cause an engine light if the wrong tranny fluid is used or the tranny has an issue? What code would come back for that?

- I got my codes scanned and the only code that came back was a P304 clinder 4 misfire. I changed my coil pack, plugs, injectors. and the the light came back but havent gotten it scanned again to see what code it is. I was asking about the tranny out of curiosity

nope, get a mechanic to run a diagnostic scan to determine the cause
