You must remove the instrument panel to replace this bulb. You must first remove the bezel around the instrument panel to gain access to the screws holding the instrument panel in. Once the panel is removed it is just a matter of replacing the bulb in the back of the panel for the check engine lamp.

My Explorer just started not going while in drive or 1st gear. It is fine if I start in 2nd and then I can shift to drive and its fine until I slow down enough for the vehicle would shift back into first. Then the same thing happens again.
