Firing order jeep Cherokee 2004 3.7 l v6

are you doing spark or timing a cam? what? what is JOB?
it dont matter, the engine, ecu does that, (magic)
but if it has a coil pack like my 3.8 then the coil pack must
be wire right and is marked. clearly on the pack.
they have USA jeeps and Export. country never stated here. sad huh?
and use differnent spark systems (3 types used, but 2 common)
per below.

v6.
is this not a Cheokee? the non Grand ended in 2004. so...
ill go with GC 2005, v6 3.7L
the v6 began in 2005, not 2004, but, maybe yours is the first./

the 3.7 has coil over plug, spark, 6 coils.
and the harness is fixed to those coil so all firing order are
dictated in the ECU/PCM (hard coded)

VIN engine code, K. (not stated)
http://www.fixya.com/cars/t13893405-firing_order_diagram_3_7l_jeep_2006

and already asked, and answered .

my 3.8 (2004) jeep.
is 1,2,3,4,5,6
and is like this.

mine uses wasted spark system.

http://www.fixkick.com/look/odds-ends/jeep/2008-JK/slideshow/firing-order.JPG

so post VIN, or tell what engine is really there.
and the true year. or build date (sticker)

so my answer is.. 2005 GC, 3.7L V6, not I-6
it has 6 cops, "coil over plugs" 6 induction coils
and runs same firing order, as the old I6 did.
1-5-3-6-2-4
but the I6 4.0liter runs a coil pack and is quite different.
these;

25312317-ojiabjcoymo5cw32jzjg31w5-2-0.gif
times 6
all laced in, hard.

Power windows do not work. I have replaced the c/brkr and still no luck. It's a 1994 Jeep Cheroke Country...please help.

Same thing just happened to me.I did everything you did. The problem was broken wires going to the drivers door. Cut the tie wrap but don't cut the rubber boot. Just slide it towards the fire wall. I had three broken ones. You will be amazed how many wires are there. They just get brittle over time and that is the most used door.

Need diagram for 1998 Jeep Cherokee sport spark plug wiring

hi, you didn't say what engine you have, I'll assume it's the 4.0 L in line 6 cylinder. Standing on the PASSENGER side of the jeep, the spark plug at the front of the engine is #1, the next is #2, and so on to #6 which is at the back (nearest the windshield).
The distributor is between you and the valve cover on the engine. Pretend the top of the distributor cap is the face of a clock.
The #1 spark plug wire goes in the cap at what would be the 6 o'clock position, (as viewed from your position standing on the passenger side, facing the side of the engine). The firing order direction is clockwise, so the 'hand' of the clock (actually the rotor in the cap) would continue to the next distributor cap plug in, which would be spark plug wire to #5 (8 o'clock position), then #3 (10 o'clock position), #6 (12 o'clock position), #2 (2 o'clock position), #4 (4 o'clock position). So all this means isi your firing order is, 1,5,3,6,2,4 If you have a different motor or any questions, let me know. Good Luck! countrycurt0
