1984 CHEVROLET FULL SIZE BLAZER INSTALLED A NEW INTAKE AND HAD TO RECONFIGURE THE BRACKETRY FOR THE THROTTLE AND THE KICK DOWN CABLE I NEED TO KNOW HOW RESET THE KICK DOWN CABLE TO THE PROPPER SETTING

On the cable where it conects to the bracket is a plastic "C" clip. pull this clip up or out( depending on how it is situated now. Take the throttle on the carb to WIDE OPEN. hold it there and push the clip back in to hold the setting. Check the throttle linkage to assure you are getting WOT when you depress the foot feed to the floor. DO NOT DO THIS WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING. Running and engine at WOT with no load is BAD.
