The plug is attached to the intake the easiest way to change it is from under the vehicle it is bolted to the top of the bell housing you can get it with a 1/4 in drive universal socket and a long extension and rachet and after you remove the 2 bolts holding it in pull it up and out of the bell housing then reinstall in reverse order

first you need to find it..its either going to be in the block, transmission bell housing or in the front of the motor by the crankshaft pulley...should be the crankshaft pulley location. unplug sensor, remove bolt, should be with a 10mm socket and grab the sensor with a pair of pliers and rock it back and forth until it comes out. do not get behind with a screwdriver and try to pry as this will cause the sensor to break, then its never coming out..if the sensor is being stubborn, then by all means spray it with luve like wd40, or liquid wrench, or fluid film something...then slowly work it back and forth...rotating at the same time...be careful and good luck
