The drivers door won't open on my 1994 Grand Prix coupe.I've loosened the inside door panel and both the inside and outside handles are moving the lever on the lock mechanism to it's upper limit.I've tried pushing with my shoulder from the inside and a pry bar from the outside,but no luck.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Your lock mechanism has become jammed in the closed position, best have a boddy shop or GM garage fix it, they have the tools to do it without damaging the car.
