i found i need to change the thermostat on my car after checking all the hoses and connections to why my car was looking like it was going to overheat when the thermostat bounced up and down but where is the thermostat located on the 2004 hyundai elantra

Follow the hoses from the top of the rad. out to the engine block, where the hose hooks to the engine is where the t-stat is located. look for sensors and a seam for a gasket.
