I have a 2003 Acura TL and the climate control is getting fake-y. The thermostat use to be responsive from going from hot to cold, but now I need to turn the dial all the way to HOT before the heat will engage.
Most likely the thermostat itself is going bad. When they fail, they get stuck open so that the engine doesn't overheat. Problem is, the coolant doesn't stay in the engine long enough to absorb enough heat to adequately heat the climate control air. You'll most likely need a new thermostat. They're inexpensive to buy (on my Audi it's a $13 part) but depending on where it is located, it could be cheap or expensive for labor.

I have 2003 CLS Acura and the cd/radio and cigratte lighter ( accsssory power) have quit working. Looking at fuses they are okay? Seem that a relay or switch may be in line. With Key on I get 0.6 V on the cig. ligther measured with a DVM. Any idea?
