1999 Honda Accord V6. The throttle position sensor is probably shot, but according to the manual it cannot be replaced as a single part. Some of the parts places around my area cannot even get the part. I started looking around and some sites say to cut a slot in the "rivet" looking fasteners that hold it in place and then use a screwdriver to get it out. Now I don't know whom to trust. I was told to spray carb or brake cleaner into the intake to see if something is mechanically stuck. I need to change the thermostat anyway so thought I would try the spray first before all the other trouble.
