Take off the trim panel on the driver's side...above your shins (they're #2 Phillips Head Screws), and on the upper right lower side of the steering column, you'll see a rod that goes into a massive looking unit. This is your starter relay/switch. They're still interchangeable with General Motors Products, but it's held in place with two 8 mm screws or bolts ( a 5/16" socket is the same as an 8 mm), and sometimes you just have to loosen the switch and move it towards or away from the steering wheel to adjust it without replacing it. I've seen too many times that vibration has shaken the two bolts/screws loose and the only thing it needed was re-adjustment.

I have a 2004 sebring sedan. when I have the headlights on my heater is blowing cold air (a/c??) turn them off and hot air blows, the dash lights at the temp knob and the fan speed knob are also off.occured at the same time.
