Won't start, battery is good, starter is good both removed and tested, battery connection is good, truck can be pushed started, but not jump started, relay inside cab for clutch pedal is now bypassed, when key is turned there is a click from what I can tell from driver side, the click comes from the passenger side of the engine compartment
cut off end of negative cable and remade it, cleaned battery terminals and both cable ends at battery side today, problem still the same, will check cable at starter/solenoid tomorrowcut off end of negative cable and remade it, cleaned battery terminals and both cable ends at battery side today, problem still the same, will check cable at starter/solenoid tomorrow

Re: Won't start, battery is good, starter is good both...
Sounds like you starter sylanoid is bad. try replacing it i think on that model you have to replace entire starter . I would have it tested to see if it is bad
if it is clicking and starter with seliond is still testing good it is more than likely the battery cable... or loose wire to the starter. check and double check all connections if one is loose or corrodide this will cause this issue as well as the silaniod (i know my spelling sux)if it is clicking and starter with seliond is still testing good it is more than likely the battery cable... or loose wire to the starter. check and double check all connections if one is loose or corrodide this will cause this issue as well as the silaniod (i know my spelling sux)

i seen light flashing look like security light.look like vechicle in theft mode problem in the theft security.try to turn ignition switch to the on position 10 minutes until security goes out.then turn off ignition wait 5 seconds see if engine starts if yes problem in the theft security system.if theft security system working okay problem could be starter or starter solenoid.could have faulty neutral safety switch or clutch start switch faulty.make sure battery volts is 12.6 volts let auto parts store do load test see if battery has a bad cell plate shorting
wont crank or wont start.?? no car starts , if it cant crank. (unless push starter (M/T magic) that is not a trans sensor its the PRN switch. ill answer for, wont CRANK ! it wont crank even with a good battery (charged) or jump started. 1: bad start 2: bad wires to same. so hot wire the starter small wire, the key start line is tiny. cranks. , starter good, no crank starter bad or cables bad. if it cranks hot wired, then the key line is dead. easy, huh?
Most likely you have a bad connection somewhere. Trace the battery cables and clean/tighten all terminals or try jumping to a different lug. You might also try removing the starter and jumping directly to the starter to verify that it is good.
jump start vehicle warm it up so its idle then disconnect the negative battery terminal ,if engine stops then the alternator is no good ,if it keeps running then renew the battery
will it start with a jump ? if it does replace the battery and have the charging system tested, if it will not start with a jump then most likely you will need to replace the starter.
Hi, odds are your solenoid has shorted out. Remove the starter and have it tested at your local parts chain. To remove the starter, first remove the negative terminal from the battery, then remove the wires from the solenoid. Then remove the 2 starter bolts--they thread in from the transmission side. See the pics below, and let me know if you have any questions.
If the battery is fully charged and it will not turn over but will start if you push it, they it is safe to assume the starter may be bad. But before removing the starter and having it tested make sure all the wiring at the starter is connected and not loose. Also check the connections at the battery and clean them throughly. Check the battery cables for swelling or or cuts. After you clean the battery connections and are sure all cables are good and connections are tight then remove the starter and take it to an auto parts store for testing.
starter was removed and tested, passed test as good
cut off end of negative cable and remade it, cleaned battery terminals and both cable ends at battery side today, problem still the same, will check cable at starter/solenoid tomorrow
