Sounds like you starter sylanoid is bad. try replacing it i think on that model you have to replace entire starter . I would have it tested to see if it is bad

if it is clicking and starter with seliond is still testing good it is more than likely the battery cable... or loose wire to the starter. check and double check all connections if one is loose or corrodide this will cause this issue as well as the silaniod (i know my spelling sux)

Car won't start without a jump but battery okay

wont crank or wont start.??
no car starts , if it cant crank. (unless push starter (M/T magic)
that is not a trans sensor its the PRN switch.
ill answer for, wont CRANK !
it wont crank even with a good battery (charged) or jump started.
1: bad start
2: bad wires to same.
so hot wire the starter small wire, the key start line is tiny.
cranks. , starter good, no crank starter bad or cables bad.
if it cranks hot wired, then the key line is dead.
easy, huh?

My 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited has a new battery but won't start. When I try to jump start it, it just makes a clicking sound but won't start.

Most likely you have a bad connection somewhere. Trace the battery cables and clean/tighten all terminals or try jumping to a different lug. You might also try removing the starter and jumping directly to the starter to verify that it is good.

My 1993 Ford Aerostar Van won't start without a jump and when it does it won't stay running. Is it a fuse or the aternator?

jump start vehicle warm it up so its idle then disconnect the negative battery terminal ,if engine stops then the alternator is no good ,if it keeps running then renew the battery

2005 Altima won't start, hear clicking sound coming from fuse box,key stuck in ingintion, won;t turn over, tried to jump start.

the clicking that you hear is coming from the starter relay. sounds like your ignition starter switch or ignition lock cylinder is bad.

Won't start but can hear starter make a click noise when trying to start with key

will it start with a jump ? if it does replace the battery and have the charging system tested, if it will not start with a jump then most likely you will need to replace the starter.

My car wont start unless it is jumped or push started all the lights come on bright when i turn the key they go dim but the car makes no noise at all i already replaced the battery and its still doing it

Hi, odds are your solenoid has shorted out. Remove the starter and have it tested at your local parts chain. To remove the starter, first remove the negative terminal from the battery, then remove the wires from the solenoid. Then remove the 2 starter bolts--they thread in from the transmission side. See the pics below, and let me know if you have any questions.

My mini has a fully charged battery but wont turn over it wont jump start but will bump start help

If the battery is fully charged and it will not turn over but will start if you push it, they it is safe to assume the starter may be bad. But before removing the starter and having it tested make sure all the wiring at the starter is connected and not loose. Also check the connections at the battery and clean them throughly. Check the battery cables for swelling or or cuts. After you clean the battery connections and are sure all cables are good and connections are tight then remove the starter and take it to an auto parts store for testing.
