Just purchased a 2005 Taurus SEL and the radio
Just purchased a 2005 Taurus SEL and the radio does not function at all. The fuse does not seem to be the issue, but the unit shows no display or anything when you push the on/off control. What's the best way to trouble shoot this 6 disc CD am/fm radio or am I looking at buying a new one. The local Ford dealership told me the units could not be serviced but had to be replaced. I don't always believe everything that come from the mouths of the 20 something service techs.
