Brief right rear grind when decelerating / accelerating. Only when gas pedal is slightly depressed. Any ideas? Rear wheel bearing is my thought, but *Gasp* could it be the pinion?

wheel bearings are a possibility ,The best way to tell is to raise the vehicle and use Jack-stands for safety purposes after raising the vehicle can you move the tire from side to side or up and in this would indicate a bad bearing try to spin the tire's on each side and listen for any noise.. It could be just brake dust Or something has lodged itself inside the only way to be for sure is to pull the tire then pull the drum.. Does anything fallout or look suspicious ?.
