follow the two hoses up from the water pump until you find where they connect to the firewall, undo both hoses and remove can't say for sure but I remember it comes out from under the Dash or from the firewall you will discover this when you start the process or before attempting this look at the situation to be sure you can do it .. I hope this helps you somewhat to get an idea.

- Thanks and unfortunately there is no easy method ...is the heater core bad leaking or merely plugged ? ..if it is merely plugged you can remove both hoses to apply a garden hose and flush the gunk out from the bottom outlet in which case you would be back-flushing it ...or is the core leaking at which point , yeah you'll have a bit of work ahead of you ...peace and good luck

get a Haynes Manual for your car. It will have the specific details and pictures of how to replace your heater core.
