Car wont idle but only on a hot day

Clean or replace air filter.

The Mass Air Flow sensor may not getting enough air to provide air temperature and air flow rate data to the computer.

MAF can also get dirty.

MAF is the electronic sensor between the engine block.

Purchase a can of MAF sensor cleaner and follow the instruction to clean the unit.

Let it air dry for 1+ hour before you reconnect the socket.
