I have a code 1345 set each start cycle. I can clear the code when running. I have not put it through the hoops. I believe it will stay clleared untill the next start cycle.

Ok it appears you have a cmp corelation offset code. If you have a scanner you can check the timing if not you will need one. This code usually sets when you have more than 16 degrees offset. the specification is 0 degrees CMP ****** +- 2 degrees. It is also possible you have worn teeth on the distributor (sharp edges) this will cause it to be out of time.
