Ford's PATS anti-theft system disables the starter from spinning the engine . Flashing real fast while trying to start the vehicle means the vehicle see's wrong key code ,think's the vehicle is being stolen . Code's stored in the computer , FORD dealer , nothing you can or should do .
If the anti-theft light is flashing, I would think it is a problem with the key or the anti-theft system. The system would kill the power to the fuel system.
Usually means the sensor in the lock cylinder is not reading the code in the key. If the pass key system does not get the right signal from the key the truck will not start. You might try taking the key off your ring - put it in the lock and turn the switch on - but don't crank it for at least a minute. There are procedures to reset the anti-theft online - - if you do a search for resetting anti-theft F150 you can read them.

On a 2003 Chevy Maibu the theft system light comes on and blinks when the system is triggered. The car will not start and the fuel pump cuts out. You must turn key to on and have all doors closed. Keep the key to on for 10 mins til theft light turns solid and then disappears. Then turn key to start and it should fire up.
I just had this on my car too. Turn the key to "on" without starting the engine. Look at the display and see if the Anit-Theft light is blinking. If it is, you need to keep your key in the on position for about 15 minutes until the light stops blinking. Start the car when the light starts blinking.
try to start the car, than the anti theift would shut the car off. you wait ten min with the key on, until you see the anti theift flash or disapear. than turn key to off position and try to start it. this will reprogram the computer.. Good luck.
you can also try disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes
My 2000 cavalier has done this for 6 months. You take your key out then open your door, wait ten minutes and the system resets itself and the car will start-annoying you bet!!!
