- took it by Advance Auto for free code analysis...egr/solenoid...taking it to Ford dealer this Sat. for their analysis vs guessing at it.

get the code to determine what system is at fault. If you already did and it directed you to the gas cap then thats about all you can do other than look at the engine and air box for any vacuum hoses that may of been left off.
