Answer
First thing I would do if its leaking is to try to put some stop leak in it. And if that fails then you have to replace it.
NOTE: Be careful when removing panels so you wont break them. They are easy to break!
The first thing you want to do is go under the dash and remove the kicker panels. There are 2 panels.
Once you do that you will see all the wirers and everything under the dash.
In the center you will see what looks like an air duct. Start removing the panel that has the vents and remove the 2 black plastic hoses from the vent panel.
Then after that you will see one last panel, the heating core is behind it.
Once that panel is removed then you unscrew the 2 brackets that hold the heater core in place.
Now what you might want to do is drain the radiator. You dont want all that antifreeze in the car.
Next you want to disconnect and remove the 2 hose clamps and hoses. They are located under the hood on the passenger side, under the blower motor going into the fire wall.
After you do that you want to take the heater core out.
Installation is just doing everything in reverse. This might be a good time to get new hoses for the heating core. I had better luck with the form fitting ones from GM.
