Is there a way of turning the key a certain way to

If you're check engine light is on, if this is you're question, no you cant turn your key to read the codes. If we are on the same page, you have to have them read with the OBD-2 Meter. It plugs in your PC just below the steering column mounted under dash., or bottom edge of dash. Auto zone will check these codes for no charge. I finally bought one for my own use.
