My '99 Saturn SL Check Engine light turns on constantly. It sounds like it wants to stall when I come to a stop. Also, if I turn on the ac, the rpms don't stay steady. Could it be my transmission?

Also if the check engine light is coming on get a scanner and get the code it is throwing, can help narrow down the possibilities. If you are really strapped for cash many auto parts stors will come out and scan it for free.
