- Ihad this problem once about 6 mths ago we did the paper clip and all but now its not responding my question is could it be the SAFTY CONTROLE SWITCH has gone out?

If the warning D4 light is staying on or blinking when you are in some other gear, or not in gear at all, it means you have a transmission problem.

the switch that makes the light change from P,R,N,D etc...is faulty and needs replacing it should be around the T bar area under console as the lights on the dash are controlled by a switch
